Your mission
As a Forest Expert (f/m/x) you are responsible for the technical processing of our climate protection projects. From the feasibility study to certification, you accompany our projects, calculate climate protection models and compile all necessary documents for certification. In addition, you help us to further develop our models and methodologies by analyzing the latest developments in the bio-based carbon industry and its standards. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of climate protection projects in the forest, has an analytical mindset and feels comfortable taking on responsibility and working across topics in a growing start-up.

Your impact
- Conducting feasibility studies for new projects (calculations of project possibilities based on forest inventory data and other forest data)
- Compilation of the documents required for certification
- Accompanying our project audits in Central Europe
- Scientific development and implementation of new methodologies
- Building new software in collaboration with our engineers
- Planning and implementation of code-based automations
- Completed forestry studies or other studies in the nature sector
- Analytical and mathematical mindset
- Understanding of forest management plans, especially inventory analysis
- Software: Gis, Excel, remote working tools
- Fluent in German and English
- If possible, you have initial experience in:
- certification standards in the forestry sector
- Collaborative work with GitHub or similar
- Code experience in Java, CSS, Python
- Working in an agile environment with the Scrum method
